We are pleased to announce that we have drawn a winner in our 50/50 raffle to benefit the Michael Bartone Foundation - Rebecca Panrock!!! Rebecca received half of the money collected as her prize, so we were able to donate $160 to the Michael Bartone Foundation. Congratulations Rebecca!!!
Our 50/50 raffle was just the beginning of our efforts to help raise money for the Michael Bartone Foundation to fight ALS. This Saturday, May 14th, we will be participating in the 9th Annual Scrum for Six event, which is hosted by our mens team in order to honor the life of their former teammate who lost his battle with ALS in 2002. It is a full day of rugby and fun at our home pitch (directions), with games throughout the day:
11:00 Old Boys vs Schuylkill River OB
12:15 A Side Brandywine vs Schuylkill River
3:00 Brandywine Women vs Pittsburgh

Upcoming Match on Long Island
After another win against the Maryland Stingers on Saturday (4/2), we will be traveling up to Long Island to take part in Friends and Family day with Suffolk Bull Moose Women's Rugby on Saturday, April 9th!
Kick-off is scheduled for 12noon, and following our game, the Suffolk Bull Moose Men's rugby team will be taking on Montauk with a 2pm kick-off. Both games will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Center Moriches, NY (directions can be found HERE). If you're in the NYC area, consider stopping by for food, fun, and a whole lot of good rugby! We hope to see you there!!!
We are also still selling 50/50 raffle tickets in order to raise money for our Scrum for Six charity game (with the Brandywine Men's team) that will take place on May 14th. Tickets are $5 for an arms length and $10 for a wingspan. All proceeds will benefit the Michael Bartone Memorial Foundation, and the drawing will take place on Tuesday, May 10th .
